The way first time I read it in summer it was one of the first manhwas I’d read let alone ABO, by the end I loved it but the SA scenes were so hard to get through so I didn’t know if I’d ever have the stomach to reread it even tho by the end I loved it insanely, now after like 300 more comics and a bunch of really bad SA scenes or ml betrayals I guess I got desensitized cause this now seems mild but as writing it’s so insanely well done,
like all that is so well balanced with the funny scenes (if it wasn’t i really wouldn’t be able to read it even the first time back then) but also the path to getting together till the end is so nicely done, they start out horrible, then when feeling start getting involved he’s still holding on to the desperate plan b of debt to have smth tying them and even after he starts giving him everything to make his life good and make up for his sins I SO love that in the end even that is portrayed like a selfish thing to do and that the most selfless thing is setting him free and mc grabbing onto him instead by free will
Like in most other comics I’ve read with a shitty ml, he’s either forgiven with no effort or real change on his part, or a bit of symbolic effort but never putting the mc’s best interest first in the end, it simply ends with their selfish desire to get the wronged mc back etc, I mean I’m not saying mc didn’t take him back relatively easily here after all the things he did to him but also there’s a lot of positive he did too and if in other comics I’d be sitting pissed at why they got back together, why he’s forgiven, yelling at mc not to take him back, in this one I just gotta sit and nod thinking “I get it, every choice mc made I get it” like AAAAA also bro WHERES THE PROPER SIDE STORIES OF PREGNANCY AND BIRTH AND LIFE AFTER THE FINALE HELLOOOO
