This took such an horrible turn. Instead of taking the time to develop the bodyguard’s character and have him struggle between the person he loves and his community, which would then make it rewarding when he finally makes his decision, the author just chose to put the prince in more traumatic situations.
He’s obviously in an abusive relationship, if you can even call that a relationship. I know it sucks and I wish he would leave him too, but he destroyed his self esteem and he feels like this is all he’s worth. Have some sympathy Jesus Christ!
Though I always love a good ol’ falls harder storyline, I really love the dynamic the mc has with the second male lead. I hope we at least get a second couple so he can find love too!
