Hi hii I come back to reread this every so often, at the start the mc had a flashback of his mother giving him the map saying she took it from a ship (if I remembered it correctly) and to escape with it, I always assumed that the ship she took it from was one of the ships involved in the fight that lead to the map being spread out ૮꒰˶´ ˘ `˶꒱ა I might be wrong but that's been my understanding of how it got to him
