I wonder how Kirino will feel when his mom dies. He’ll have an existential crisis. The bittersweet ending reflects real life. I wish for a happy ending for Kirino, but that just might never happen. Because life isn’t all about happy endings.
I guess Mashima was probably genderfluid/bugender while Kirino may have been trans. But I’m not sure.
I had this exact same thought, as the path he decided to walk was a direct result from his mother’s unwillingness to accept him (and ofc some other factors, but his mom was the main reason). I think if his mom dies it will send him into a full on crisis/a second opening of his “pandoras box”.
I really enjoyed this manga. I love how it started with like 2 pages per chapter and eventually increased to 34 pages. But, also, I dont think this is complete yet?? It didn’t seem like it was over. So cute
I love this. I feel like the ML’s personality tends to be a side character in a lot of manga so I feel super happy to see ML as a lead role.
Pacing was way too fast. I didn’t see a reason or a moment that either should have fell in love with each other. I saw more chemistry with the friend. The dialogue was forced and I don’t think it’s due to the translation, rather the pacing and the mangaka

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that thought the girl was super cute. Would have loved to see that ship sail even though when I read shoujou manga I always want the 2 guys to end up with each other rather than the FL.
idk if it’s just me thinking this or not but you wishing for the str8 ship to be the canon one over the gay one In The Yaoi that also has more chemistry than the str8 one is very .. odd.

imo they didn’t really have much potential considering she was moving so fast after hardly knowing him i know it was the same way with the other guy , much faster even , but also i didn’t even fully expect those two to actually get together despite the story being based around them lolol ,,
also Imo ( again ) the girl was super annoying so im glad we didn’t get more of her.

Aww, MC should not be a detective. He should just chill and enjoy the palace. But other than that this was a super cute story. Would have made more sense if it were an omegaverse because they never explained how a man could get pregnant if they don’t naturally have a uterus, lol.
Omg. I am in love with this couple. It’s not toxic, the bottom is proactive. Also, the backlash component of MC being a chatterbox is chef’s kiss. This author is seriously golden. I’ve loved all of their works.
