This artist is so talented. I feel like I am watching a high quality movie. The expressions, the framing, the subtle shifts in movements from one panel to the next. This artist took “show not tell” to the most beautiful level possible.

I’m just starting this story because the last part of the series is in a masterpiece list. I’m scared because kan is the MC in the 4th book and he is really really hurting the MC in this volume. I feel like this is going to be a wild ride

I wish we could see her transition to her full self. I know there wasn’t enough time to delve into the trans topic, but she is 100% a trans woman as she said she always wanted to be a girl. I hope one day I will be able to read a story like this but longer. I wish this story was more popular so we could get 50 chapters.
Respectfully, when I was younger, due to how horrible the world is to girls and women, I want to be a man and, lowkey, hated women and feminine anything. I’m not a trans person. I’m not a hyper feminine woman. This character is a man who likes feminine stuff and thought to be loved and accepted that it would be better if he were someone else, let’s not act like society doesn’t look down on femininity, especially if it’s being performed by a man, and gay people. Don’t rewrite the story to suit your needs. This story speaks on SOOOO many gay men’s experiences—let them have this moment. There are stories that will suit those needs of yours. We all deserved to have our stories told. I get it.
I love how much of a shounen jump vibe this had. Felt like I was reading an action manga that just happened to have some real gay romance. This is definitely a great read. I almost cried laughing at some points.
I feel like 6 chapters didn’t do this story justice. This should have been a 50 chapter story delving into the uke’s past - how he because the art subject, the seme’s journey to becoming a tattoo artist, and the romance progression could have become so much more natural. Would have loved this to be a slow burn where their trauma is revealed slowly. This could have been a tear jerker. But alas, not every manga has the opportunity to fully explore the plot.
It is short. But it is still super cute. I am in love with how expressive the artists made their ears and tails. It really shows that they have animalistic tendencies.
