i love this, beautiful redemption trope so far where characters arent just used to push the plot, really love the depth between the past and future actions

this arc was so much more pitful in the novel.. feels like they just wanted to make it an easy read and just decided to skip it all.. wont be suprised if they make him find her in the next chapter.. sigh
I agree. The part where she's struggling to survive alone was really hard to read. I hope they'll drag it out a bit more though.
the scene where he finds her bag and the potato she had bought to sustain herself.. she barely looks injured in this chapter but when he sees her in the novel he cant believe whats happened..... UGH the dungeon reveal scene wont even unfold properly now
That damn potato was so heartbreaking and I agree, in the novel she still looked almost unrecognizable even after 10 days because she was so beat up, it's almost ridiculous how small they've made her injuries here.
And the dungeon scene was so great in the novel it's truly a shame that we won't get that. I don't really understand the reason for making these changes.

fair play like this is really realistic, she chose such a horrible timing to try and fix their relationship. surely if the older brother even wanted to properly he had all the time to genuinely speak to him, he didnt even have a good reason for doing what he did

I think they insinuating that she died bcuz of childbirth and that's why little to nothing they accumulated an information about the ludovika, even theobald tried to look for any info w/o read how beautiful she was and that's all
