Chapter 4 was really unclear
Emoto is a well-known actor's son so he could get away with it by using influence or money. Also, the homophobic congressman wanted nothing to do with his gay son so it's not like he was gonna press charge or make it public.
The reason why Emoto assaulted the MC is revealed in chapter 6, which hasn't been translated yet. It fucking pisses me off that Emoto later had a happy ending with another man after briefly (like in a few panels) explaining and apologizing (i think) to the MC. Man what the fuck?
