okay i know it's for comedic effect but for once, could the main character maybe?? talk?? before making decisions ilke this?? he joined that other guild without talking to the poseidon guild about it, and now "breaking up" with jistar even though he didn't really seem to want to because "welp, a promise is a promise" like bro, maybe shoot someone a message? have a conversation?? anything???
hhhhh i know it's not that serious, but it seems like a whooooole lot of drama could be avoided if he just... let out some of that internal dialogue a bit more lmao

people here complaining about the "drama" between the translators like... S&S were dedicating their free time to provide you guys with free content, and now you're annoyed that S&S became upset when some dude decided to disrespect their work and effort by uploading stolen translations (second group does not want their translations to be posted on this site)?? maybe it's just me, but makes the whiners seem pretty entitled and ungrateful :v

i dunno why so many people are mad at saikawa for being jealous, like... tsuguru is known throughout school to be a homewrecker and stealing other people's partners. sure, we just found out it's not actually like that, but saikawa has no idea about that, so from his perspective, there's a "mr-steal-yo-mans" getting all buddy buddy with his boyfriend, who seems to have no problems with this stranger flirting with him, and that's gotta feel pretty shitty if you ask me
as for avoiding sayama... i get it. jealousy is not a nice feeling to have, but you don't just make it go away (especially if you're high school age). saikawa doesn't wanna constantly have to watch his boyfriend be close with a homewrecker, because a) that would feel like crap, and b) it might make saikawa say something bad and hurt sayama's feelings. that's why he says he avoids sayama because he loves him; he doesn't wanna hurt sayama, and he wants to protect himself from his own jealousy

I agree with you on I do feel like Saikawa has every right to be angry and jealous but I feel like he should explain it better because Sayama really doesn't understand those things. He was always alone and never talked. Not only that but Sayama said he didn't like it when the other guy bothered him but he wasn't going to leave him in the hall that way.

yeah, he should definitely communicate it better... i suppose to him, the situation feels like such a glaring, obvious issue, and he hopes sayama would realize on his own how bad it's making saikawa feel. teenagers (and many adults) are pretty bad at communicating well in a relationship in a proper way, especially if you're worried about accidentally hurting the other person by bringing your "negative" feelings (jealousy) to light

At this point people down here really need to understand from ALLL of the characters' pov. Like what would you do if your bf gets along w that one student known as stealing others lovers, what would you do if you noticed how that one student known as stealing lovers have his own side of story, what would you do if people misunderstand you and spread negative rumors about you. I might as well pity the mangaka for their readers picking sides demn it. I can tell from the mangaka's plot writing how they cherish all of their characters, but here the people already picking favorites-

i don't think picking favorites is a bad thing, nor does it mean people think the mangaka has done a bad job. i haven't seen anyone say they're annoyed that the mangaka decided to make the story this way or insinuate that the plot or characters are bad. flawed characters are good and the reason people are upset is because they have grown to love these characters and they want to see them succeed, and a roadblock is gonna have the readers feeling upset alongside the characters. for example, i hate malfoy in harry potter because he's an annoying prick, but does that mean i think he's a bad characters? not at all. disliking a character for the role they play in the story is not the same as disliking the story itself.

It's not, which is why it's worth to try. This is the same case as encountering conflicts IRL, not everyone can and want to understand all parties involved, but like I said, try eh? :D Other than that, I agree that it's okay to have favorites and should accept the wrongs their character does at the same time•^•

the thing that annoys me about the girl is that i know people like this in real life, i remember when i was younger and i had a crush on this guy, and when i found out he had a girlfriend i was like "ah well good for them i guess i should forget it" but some of my friends started going on and on about how i should keep trying, how i "can totally take that girl" and should hope for them to break up and??? i was just so put off by it??? like no thanks, i have no interest in being a homewrecker???

my experience of reading went like this
"oh i'm sure they won't do anything until midoriya's turned back into an adult—oh that's a kiss well okay sure i guess that's fine as long as they don't—oh wow okay a handjob uh isn't midoriya like 15 years old—oh no oh nO wait a second now todoroki he's a kID—OH NO NOT THE SEXY TIMES NOT YET WAIT UNTIL HE'S AN ADULT AGAIN OH SHET—well i guess i'm going to hell anyways uH"
Oh man, I can't believe the author decided to "fade to black" in the moment where they finally found each other at last... (;___;) like it's all been building towards it, with both of them placing such a huge emphasis on longing for physical touch, and then we don't even get to see them touch for the first time? We don't get to see the first words they exchange in person? I dunno, personally just really took the wind out of the sails for me, which is really sad, because it was such a beautiful story up until that point :(
