That said, now that Ive reread a few times, the art deteriorated towards the end sadly. I think the author may have been pushed to get the story done quicker. The whole layout itself/style changed tbh which make sense for how action heavy a lot of the other arcs were, to an extent.
I love these characters so much. The depth still holds up to this day. This and fruits basket rule the early 2000s shoujo gente for me

the emotional depth in this is so damn good. Im trusting the author to not lose that in any potential smut, some BLs are SO guilty of that
It is, and it’s getting more and more emotional from here on. The novel is actually shounen-ai, like the romance is one of slowest burn to ever burned, probably thats the reason why the manhwa team decided to insert the random smut scenes bc we’re not getting even intimate hand holding until the very end
that makes so much sense! I dont mind smut at allll, but I was seriously offput by how random it was here? it made me worry the story was going to go to shit, from previous experience with BLs that did this. maybe I should read the novel too, thanks for sharing

I am only at peace because its clear the grandmother has found a sneaky way to leave Laura an inheritance. She also has the ML in her corner and luckily in this era marriage can't be forced. She'll be fine. I just need the uncle to die
I love this writer. All of their MCs have common sense and don't act oblivious to the ML's true feelings, its so much more mature and interesting, like a proper drama
Couldn’t agree more. Pleasant surprise every few chapters when the story ducks the formula and the MC gets to the point instead of being clueless
the scenes are so well done but I can't get over the feeling of sadness I have for this story. If she's truly a ghost he's spending all this time cooped up alone with someone whos not even alive anymore. That can't be healthy... I was hoping befire that it would at least be a coma situation because what other choice would there be but to let her go or die to be with her?
