For me this chapter 100% confirms Mr A had something to do with the "Virus".
Why is he so "Delicate"? He feels guilt, it's his fault these people are suffering "He probably took us out of guilt".
Remember what he told to M? "Im sorry that this is what.. has become of you". M was confused at was he was sorry for, he ended up assuming it was the treatment he had to take, but I think A was genuinely sorry.
It ties everything together, before he was a "Easy going" guy, but with the years and realizing what he ended causing, he changed and became more delicate (I'm trying to no use pathetic).
Maybe he only took in the people that were regected bc they were easier to take widouth involving the scientist to much, but when K laid his eggs he could not avoiding them anymore. he may have brought G "I just want to help em retaing their humanity" excuse or maybe he just knew he is powerless against the government.
And maybe he tried to stop him but G used that pink needle on A making him a hybrid, as G said "I get to decide when A comes back" (maybe he has a cure? I think he is just manipulating them ).
Mr A, now a hybrid decides to escape after all he has no power and can't do anything anymore, but the moment he knows his nephew is on the farm and may end up like him he has to go back to save him, at the end he may be able to save at least 1 person.
I don't think Mr A did it on purpose btw, just an accident or an experiment gone to shit

also something about little A bothers me tbh, he seems like an unreliable narrator. something tells me that whatever was inside the box that he opened when he was a kid, might be related to the virus. (since his parents were keen on not letting him step a foot onto his uncle's farm again + they kept him monitored with therapists/psychologists until he was an adult)

I think the box contained Mr A research and the origen of the virus , someone else said that he may ended up accidentally transforming fluffy (after all he has always been on the farm and it's the only animal hybrid we know of) and that the constant monitoring was to see if he also developed symptoms!
