I think the author is trying to finish this whole series in a single "season", unlike in SoB, and that's why they're showing everyone's story at once. This kinda destroys the immersion but what can we do, we atleast got a sequel and I'm satisfied enough with that.

actually i think you’re mistaken. the kr translation of the synopsis says “campus romance, academy romance, office worker romance, etc” and i saw kr commenters on the official talk abt how they assume we’re on the campus arc and then next will be academy and then office workers will be gaeul and subin. i hope you dont let your assumptions destroy your immersion! i could be wrong but i have faith in the authors since they executed sob so beautifully

Oh I actually didn't know that! That makes sense since we haven't been seeing gaeul and subin, thanks for the info! And I also have faith in whatever the authors decide to do. But in the current arc, it's true that I'm having a hard time getting emotionally invested because of it being focused on too many characters at once, unlike SoB where everything flowed naturally with a single arc focused on only a few characters. But then again, I'm far too attached with the old characters to see this series in a negative light, so you don't have to worry about that atleast lol
Can someone explain why she had to run away on the day of the competition if she was gonna accept things so easily? This is my take on this, she was afraid that when the actual royalties, the one she is claiming to be, arrives she will be caught so she ran away, but since they got into an accident she decided to just go with the flow. Am i getting it right, or did i miss something?
yeah thats exactly it. gms said the people who could counter her lie were i assume dead now so she just went. the mc is lowkey getting dumber and dumber but wtv
I see, thank you for the response. I think she's getting dumber too lol or maybe it's also because of the pacing, all of a sudden things become super urgent for her but in the moment she's like "wtv I'm just gonna go w that"
In the next moment*
I don't think she ran away because of the royalties she was pretending to be were coming, but because her HP was below 10% and she had no choice but to be forcibly teleported away to town. If it ain't for her debuff she probably would have stayed and think of a way to deal with the royalties that were coming because she seemed like she had unfinished business in the capital, at least that's my take on it.
Though I don't really know what unfinished business she has, it wasn't really clear in the story -w- maybe something to do with the sword or Elaine? Who knows... I also don't really know why she didn't just get nise to clear her debuff, but I guess the author just wanna show the cute elephant bird hatching I guess
Ohh that makes sense! Showing the cute elephant bird sounds like the real reason lol thank you for explaining!
