He's not dumb he's acc really smart he learns stuff quickly and has good situational iq figuring stuff out just from what he's experienced and he didn't really get used they're just working together for their own sakes because the MC loves fighting and the lady told him that if he fights in GPS he can meet even stronger enemies over time so that's why he decided to "help" just for the sake of fighting
