yeah no ngl i didn’t understand anything u said but i’ll try and reply according to how i understood ur message. anyways, the reason she gravitates towards him throughout the story is just because he stayed by her side and accepted her weirdness when the guild started going to shits. at first she was just curious about a pretty girl she could befriend and then afterwards just felt apologetic towards him because she approached him weird, but they grew closer bc — despite their differences — stuck by each other’s sides.
i didn’t really understand why she decided not to go to the meet-up either, but it was also already clearly displayed that she went to a reunion and disappointed everyone around her because she was gloomier than expected. she was about to go to the meetup bc she didn’t want to be alone, but then got curious if ML ever wanted to lean on anyone since he is always there for FL to lean on (came to get her cus he was worried, plays with her daily, etc) and therefore decided to treat him dinner. compared to the others in the reunion and meet-up, ml has no expectations of her since he has already seen everything, so i think that’s why she feels more at ease around him and continues to stick to him
again their romance and interactions just feels like two socially anxious people curious about each other and therefore trying to navigate through their insecurities and awkwardness to get to know each other better
