The whole manga it’s based on the ghost of Yuki. Mafuyu met Ue and they got to know each other because of Yuki’s guitar. Their little success as a band it’s because of the song Mafuyu wrote thinking about Yuki. You can feel his sorrow and loneliness through each page and everytime Yuki is mentioned or showed, I too feel a pain in my chest as I could feel what Mayufu is going through. What I really hope, because not only Mayufu deserves it but Ue as well, is that he will let go his sadness in order to be able to breathe again.
