even tho i liked this ending and prefer the mc with the bf i really hate some kind of things for example the getting the mc drunk and fighting him bcs he was taking care of the bro or even exposing the bros feeling. i get that hyunjin is really insecure but that wasnt right.
also i wished these could have had a few more chaps, the step bro finding someone else and finally getting over the mc bcs i feel so sorry for him, having an unrequited love is really painful and the family meeting with hyunjin i felt sad seeing him having to take off and put again his ring just bcs he was with his family, i understand his fear but his mom seemed really supportive and the step dad doesnt seem to hold prejudice however as i said i understand his fear
one thing that i liked about this is that didnt had any kind of cheating or harrassment/rape that is smth unfortunately common on bl and also that the mc didnt mislead the bro and lead him on, he always said that he only saw him as his little bro and nothing more
about the little bro's feeling i think it would've been better if, hyunjin would be the one saying, he could've said in a less harsh way. the mc was sick and so confused and the little bro didnt deserve having his feelings exposed like that. but i wished sowoon(?) was the one confessing what he was feeling just so he could get off his chest bcs holding it to himself longer would only hurt him more and more
in short, yes theres many things i didnt really liked (specially the last few chaps) and it could have been developed better and not so hushed but it was better and more realistic than many other bls thave I've already read
it seems a lot of people really dont get how relationships works. haesoo and jowoon had years long relationship [a toxic one btw], haesoo was often manipulated but he still take the courage to end it. its natural for him to still think about jowoon bcs he truly always had feelings for him, you dont suddenly stop loving someone if he did the story would have 0 development. now i hope the author works on this, on haesoo getting over jowoon and falling for taku
