Dunno about the prince but the priest is more vile than you think. From what spoiler I have read, he mediated some sort of incidence again and as a result suggested shuli to be banish to a monstary, he says he will make sure of that , he was actually gonna molest her there cause plot twist here! He fell in love at first sight with shuli, he keeps denying his desire. He also tries to eliminate any Male in her life too.
But Noah and shuli gets married so he is unsuccessful.

Spoiler Alert I found some details about the Cardinal in the First Timeline
As we saw in the chapters Jeremy investigated the death of Shuli, when he found out who ot was it eventually led into civil war against the Church and also Cardinal fell in love at first sight at Shuri that's why he wanted to have her or went on full Yandere mode and killed her that's what I got so far. I got nothing from the Prince from the First Timeline but on the second I have one if you want to keep reading then go ahead
The First Prince on the second time line was also on love with Shuli and it was spoiled (not really accurate since this is from memory) There was a time skip and the Prince wanted to alienate the children from Shuli and he coaxed or persuaded Elias( second son) to gamble and Elias stole Shuli's money after the Emperor heard of this he exiled the First Prince to another country and the second Prince became Crown Prince.
