This is so beautiful the process of healing and recovering in stories gets me so emotional and i envy the characters who find ppl who are their medicine not a lot of ppl have that opportunity

True in some cases some mental illnesses need help from outside but like in this case the mc just needs to be forgiven by the person he hurted which is the seme in order to heal and no therapist can give him that a therapist can merely help him live with it or forget about it and i'm sure the extreme guilt he feels which led him to find some kind of relief in violent sex can't be simply ignored and let's be honest sometimes ppl just need to be loved and feel special to someone that's why many ppl love the romance genre for me romance i find in shojo or yaoi or others is to help me feel that happiness we normally get through feeling loved because many ppl lack that so it's not really an illness u can't go to ur therapist and ask them to love you

no, therapy isn't just for mental illnesses at all. It's for working through any kind of issues, which this character definitely has and would have residual trauma that wouldn't just go away magically cause love. Real life doesn't work that way.
It would take time and have to be worked on, and you learn how to do that from therapy. It's virtually impossible to do it on your own, and a significant other is not a therapist. That's extremely, profoundly unhealthy.
The problem is loving and forgiving yourself. If everything comes from without rather than within, then you're still using your relationship as a crutch without fixing the underlying issues. In the long run, that can actually cause the relationship to deteriorate.
I love the trope of two broken people helping each other heal, but it only works like this in fiction.

Nope, nope, nope. Many people that have committed suicide we’re very loved, yet love wasn’t enough. Yes, people need to find ways to heal and forgive themselves, and therapists can guide you in how to do that. I can speak from experience, my family life is good, I never felt unloved, yet that couldn’t dig me out of my severe depression, ptsd and anxiety. I needed therapy for that. So as romantic as it may sound/seem, love does not conquer all and that’s a Dangerous thought to have.

well i guess it depends on the personality of the person some ppl are stronger than others and ppl deal with things differently u can't also tell someone to go to a therapist and feel the obligation to heal maybe it won't work for him maybe everyone seek help differently we can't say for sure that therapy would help everyone i'm not saying that love solves everything either i'm just talking about this character specifically and as the story showed he was able to heal through love

Like i said before i'm not saying that love solves everything but therapy doesn't solve everything either sure someone can go to a therapist to seek help i'm not against it but like u said as there are ppl who are loved and commit suicide there are ppl who go to a therapist and still suicide.. and anyways we're not here talking about therapy nor suicide i'm not talking about ppl in general either as everyone deals with things differently and everyone have different personalities and point of views i'm just talking about this character and honestly not seeing love as a solution to something is also dangerous cause after all we only have that and i'm talking about love in general not the kind of love we find in relationshisp even the love of a pet ,book, place ..can save you

I hate how the seme acts like he's some kind of savior when he's the main problem like u freaking raped him urself twice and was gonna bite him are u freaking stupid and how come the omega isn't a bit mad like i understand he enjoyed it but cause he was in heat ugh i'm furious about these two

Yeah and it's based on a manga that i'm rating it just cause it's a manga doesn't mean i should agree with the characters actions and not rate them as if it was real and i mean i know those stuff but some alphas admit what they did wrong and if they rape the omega they're well aware of what they this one however is delusional just cause it's fictional doesn't mean i don't have the right to disagree with it
Anyone else noticed the two characters of Paramour in the last panel if the latest chapter ?
