Yes but not being innocent doesn't make him less a victim, in particular a victim of Sangwoo. My point still stands, Bum doesn't owe Sangwoo anything, and his life is more worthy than a promise.

I never said he did. My point still stands as well, Bum isn't innocent. While he doesn't owe Sangwoo anything, your original comment played as him being completely a victim, which isn't true at all. While he's certainly more of a victim than Sangwoo, as far as the shown storyline goes anyway, this isn't a black and white monster and victim situation. Bum is not an innocent baby, he's just not near as bad as Sangwoo

i still doesn't understand why does it matter if Bum is innocent or not then. We were talking about the suicide promise and I've said that a victim, and Bum IS undeniably Sangwoo's victim, shouldn't die for his abuser and rapist (Sangwoo). So do you mean he doesn't deserve a chance? There are people who want a second chance for Sangwoo but he's clearly beyond that. But Bum has shown signs of regret, and it's clear he doesn't mean any harm to other people; Bum didn't want his longtime rapist dead and saved Seungbae's life twice. Bum can be helped differently from sangwoo, and if he sacrifices his life for a stupid promise made out of love ( at least for him it's love, but he doesn't know any better ) for Sangwoo it will be a waste.

You guys were talking about that, I simply commented on your response painting him as a 100% innoceny victim.
As for chance, it's unlikely there's room for help for him either, considering it's implied he's been like this for many years. If he does end up living and being free, it's highly likely he'll just becoming obsessed over another person and mistaking it for love.

In the end these are all opinions..I hope that the author will write the most convincing end.
