Not vibing with the MC, the way he just didn't let the ML speak or explain himself and just started accusing him was not it. Especially since ML JUST felt appreciative that MC was the ONE person who didn't judge him and then immediately after MC started venting at him.
I mean, it was great that MC ran back and apologized but it still remains true that he accused ML like that. It made the moment ML had with MC earlier feel cheap and false.
It was cute enough but honestly wouldn't read this again.
The true villains of this story is Adele's utter shithole of a so called "mother" and the duke who manipulated the emperor since he was a child. Yes, many of the characters were incredibly flawed and not good people but the truly awful individuals were those two in my opinion.
Also how is it that so many of the royal figures with "power" got assassinated or were threatened but Adele's bullheaded rat's heart of a mother somehow got away with a verbal slap on the wrist?? Like make it fair, let that banshee taste a bit of the true imperial experience she's somehow trying to protect and control.
Better yet, let her follow her predecessors footsteps (to another realm)
But I am rooting for the second male lead bcz this ML is not it bro, literally ex boyfriend named his hard earned dream cafe after MC and in comparison this butthole of a ML is now forcing MC to gawk gawk on his ding dong.
The oceans gap between these two is insane.
