Hyungdo... I want his life to not be what it is. I really want him to find a compassionate person who will help him get out of his current situation in life. I just don't think that's in the cards for this manhwa, it's too gritty and lacking both romance and a light at the end of the tunnel. So asking for him to be happy might be asking for too much, I'll settle for asking for him to not be miserable.

I'm not particularly bothered by the blackmail since it's not involved in getting our homeless playboy a place to stay. He's just like, Oh, I like your music! You made a good song so play it for me! Then he's like, let's work on songs together or I'll share your good song with other people. So, the end result if the threat was carried out is just that people would know he wrote a good song and plays the piano well. And the outcome of cooperating with the blackmailer is more of less just our little composer working on something he enjoys and perhaps gaining some confidence in being able to be acknowledged for his own skill along the way.
