Oh no! D: I was excited that for once it seemed like the original female lead was actually nice and got along with the main character! Then, all of a sudden, the original female lead got greedy and wants to steal the husband of someone who was nice to her?! Sure, she discovered that the emperor can have multiple wives, but she's from a world where monogamy is expected and she knows that the emperor likes the empress so why is she trying to wedge her way into their relationship?!

I feel sorry for Cole. He's a mess. He is emotionally unstable and makes bad decisions trying to fill the void he has in himself. Like, I'm pretty sure he hates himself and his decisions as much as anyone else does.
I really wish I hadn't read this far.
I was fine with how twisted their relationship is.
But cheating makes my heart hurt for everyone and I didn't want that to be a part of this story. He'll have to tell Alex now, because honesty is important and it's going to eat at him. But I'm not looking forward to how any of this unfolds. :/

I liked this a lot so I read the novel. The novel was fantastic. But, now that I've read the novel I don't like this as much because it can't capture as many details of the relationships between the characters or the steaminess of the sex.

Every time this is updated I read the chapter and get soooo pissed off at Trashta and the cheating bastard emperor! But, then I read the comments and get to "like" every single one of them because it's all people venting about how much they hate those two! It's really cathartic.
