I feel so apathetic towards rape in these stories cz it really doesn't even need to be there. This could have been a great revenge story tackling a variety of issues. It would have even been great if they just punched and kicked each other if intensity was needed. Most of these rapes do nothing for the story but just mediocre shock value. These creators act like bottoms can never just want to get fucked. They infantalize tf out of bottoms so they can justify the need for forceful shit. The bottoms are always written as intellectual inept that they never know what they want so a top has to force them to an answer or something. These stories capitalise on readers empathy towards the bottoms and that's why the bottom is always suffering because they know that's what keeps the fans hooked. The creators know readers project themselves onto the bottoms and will strive for a carthatic end even if the bottom is going through it. It's a trap to keep us engaged. This formula is so shit and overdone at this point. These stories are becoming a cultural phenomenon that reinforce already fuck ass stereotypes about gay men and also women.

Y'all don't know how much I love this story. It's so refreshing in a sea of BLS that don't have a lick of actual BOYS LOVE. It's a nice balance of horny and storytelling. Muchul makes me so sick. The arrogance and ignorance is jarring. He let na haesoo just struggle by herself so much. He destroyed her so much that she is emotionally stunted. I love that his default setting with her is to be accommodative. It's hard on him but he loves her enough to be patient with her. Anyway todays chapter is well written. It juxtaposes two adults who were in a position to do better but didn't and now pretend like they care with great intentions when all of their actions toward the MCs are driven by selfishness
