it's probably because they fall into sexist stereotypes, like zero good reason for having interest in the MC other than "ooo hes so strong", strong and wealthy with no obvious backstory or actual personality. And then losing any sort of character when interacting with the MC because they 'like' him... it's copy paste in most shonen/action stories so it's why I avoid the romance/harem tags like the grave...
