For me that is what I thought, but it could somehow be another couple. No names were used besides appearance wise. But, regardless. I enjoyed the story and loved the couple with the cat.

I get why some readers are bothered at the lack of romance between characters; because thats what we are mainly here for ROMANCE , but for me it seems the author is world building and at the same time letting the characters grow outside the romance aspect of it all. Even though they already have grown and matured, all these filler chapters must lead up to something.
It's becoming more of an adventure/slowburn genre
This was a whole rollercoaster of fun and was so interesting without having to be cliche
I love how the scent of an omega in heat is portrayed here. Because for mates it must smell like the most amazing thing and it being portrayed as being hit with flowers is so different from other omegaverse stories
