It’s been a while since I last read the novel but what I remember (spoiler alert DO NOT READ IF U DONT WANNA BE SPOILED) is that after an angsty situation Edith do confront the author (lizz ) about the sole reason why she tried to kill her (cause she did try it one last time when her plan did not work) and why she’s been killing all those Edith’s… and her will to continue to be the center of attention and young. The conversation went on long but summery of it is that she didn’t want to face Lizz aging and Edith said along the line that aging is a good thing and she should live her life as herself and not someone she idolized. Anyways, Lizz married cliff and started acting her true personality (the author one) and ironically (or what I remember thinking of her) was that her personality is just as the og Edith written personality. Cliff already knew or had an idea that lizz was faking her innocence and all, but he was so madly obsessed and in love with her that he let her deceive him, so her actions later on was brushed of or rather he was turning a blind eye on her actions while trying to "calm her personality" (if that makes sense)???anyways Liz still wanted to be in the spotlight so she did something unspeakable against the royal family (could be kinda like treason) and ended up in prison. Cliff later on moved on with his life, married another one and fell in love with her. He eventually apologized for his actions to Edith, but I can’t forgive him after knowing the fact that he was well aware of his actions….. Edith forgave him, killian is still bitter of that. What I hated is that the the duke and the duchess haven’t had a moment in the novel were they officially apologized for their actions and always blaming everything on Edith. In the novel they briefly brought out that they apologized through gift and all, but I still wished to have a formal one in the chapters. They do in fact love their grandchildren(Edith & killians children) so much that they play with them and shower them with gifts, that was a really sweet moment to read. I don’t remember much if Liz’s later on in prison, I jus know she is living a miserable life there(karma is a real b!tch to the ones that deserve it) and everyone else is moving on in life. Last thing I remember is that cliffs second wife is pregnant, she is really sweet and cliffs seems to adore her so much(not in the toxic obsessive way like with Liz)

Yea, I kinda figured out from the start in the novel(I have trust issues on og fl) but what I like about the manhwa is the fact that they make it harder to figure it out by the authors facial and cloths + lizz facial expressions and interactions with the "author’s puppets" in the latest chapters. It wasn’t really included in the novel (the interactions) or maybe I just don’t remember it at all

Nooo Cliff got off way too easy. He knew what she was doing and pretended not to know and treated the FL like shit. I wished he would’ve at least got kicked out of the family or something cus he got off wayyyyyy to easy ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
