The new art style is horrible. I only slightly disliked it at first, but each new chapter I read, the worse it gets for me.
Why isn’t this being updated on this site? We’re 10 chapters behind the English officials.
The tragic backstory trope is so played out. *yawn*
Definitely going to need a face sitting scene from them. Yujin riding Aaron’s face…perfection.
Aw, Young Bae smiling while holding his son. but also
This MC is actually written with some sense. I wonder how the author is going to twist it around in whatever fucked up way to put them together in the end. I’m guessing it’ll involve the MC finding out about the ML’s shitty childhood and eventually falling for him (his dick). Same ol’, same ol’.
I love the little kid. He’s such a cutie. I feel like, at some point, Yujin’s father is definitely going to kidnap him or threaten him to blackmail Yujin.
This little arc was actually pretty sad to read. The manhwa just isn’t adapting it well. It’s too lighthearted and lacking the emotional depth from the novel.
Yeah, Yujin looks softer, and his neck and face are noticeably thinner, unfortunately.
I just saw a couple comments from users who were relieved that the ML isn’t the one who actually ends up pregnant in the novel, and I just have to say that you bitches are boring as fuck. Not that it even really matters, but if the ML had been the one who’d gotten pregnant, at least it would’ve been something different. Plus, Chiyoung is so goofy that it just would’ve been fun and interesting to see him deal with his pregnancy and everything that comes with it, but you mfs love the predictable.
They totally changed it from the novel… In the novel, the ML had to remain mostly in his wolf form to fully heal from the stabbing, and the MC nursed him back to health. During this time, the MC took on some of responsibilities of the watcher. I wanted to see him (literally) barking out orders in his little puppy form. :( The novel also showed the MC working to locate Park Geontae. There’s a whole discussion with the MC and Youngbae about what Park Geontae’s been up to, and how he’s tracking him. This was important because it kind of lead to the next conflict between the couple. This was all in the main part of the novel, but maybe it’ll be moved to the the side stories?
Random, but where do y’all go to listen to/dl drama CDs? Just found out one of the smutty BLs I was reading has one, but idek where to look.
Y’all I’m scared for us rn. Iykyk
Finally started reading this. My one takeaway, besides the fact that it’s very good, is that it really didn’t need to be a BL. The burn seems to be slow, but I don’t feel like romance will add anything to the story. In fact, it’ll probably take away from it. Just my opinion, though. It’s still pretty great so far.
No way people think this is going to end in a poly relationship. Korean BL authors have shown themselves to be incredibly boring and predictable. Chansol is going to end up with the main alpha, Taeha, that he’s been fucking all season. The author wouldn’t even let Juwon, technically the second ML (because Kyungtae is a non-factor lbr), fuck Chansol alone. He could only fuck him with Taeha present and participating. That should’ve clued y’all in. Plus, authors almost always choose the more dominant and possessive MLs to be endgame.
Welp, chapter 40 dropped, and they really did change it from the novel. That sucks. They added some stuff with Heeseong that I appreciate, but towards the end of the chapter, he decides to help Chiyoung get better by having sex with him, and that leads to what we see at the end of chapter 39, I guess. Took a cute, wholesome moment and ruined it just to add unnecessary smut. Lame.
The ML is so traumatized from the MC leaving him that he freaks out whenever he can’t get ahold of him. Lol The beginning of the newest chapter, he’s freaking out because the MC doesn’t answer his call, so he rushes home from work just to find the MC and baby asleep in bed. lol Poor guy.
The manhwa is really failing to capture the complexities of the novel, especially the loneliness and despair that Chi-young feels when he arrives at his sister’s birthday party and realizes that he doesn’t have a pack anymore. It’s devastating to read. And, idk what’s going on at the very end of chapter 39. That’s not in the novel. I hope it’s a nightmare because why would they replace such a cute and wholesome scene with that?
