The high schooler moves to the mountains maybe cuz his parents died or something and he started to live with the god/spirit cuz he might've know the parents????? (I'm honestly confused too it's been one or maybe two years since I read this) and he'd say he would never get lost in the mountains cuz he knew the path (or maybe the other way around, I know I ain't giving y'all much I'm sorry) there's also this wolf guy that became a dog and helped the mc find his way back home (he got lost maybe cuz it was nighttime, I somehow remember it was nighttime in the manga) and the spirit got really mad at that cuz mc is his. Pretty sure it's shounen-ai (I remember being pissed cuz they were just kissing)
