Why do some people love to pick on someone who doesn’t have a mom/dad or both growing up? I don’t get how does someone even starts thinking “hey, this guy doesnt have a mom/dad, let’s make him feel miserable by teasing him” ???huh?? Is having another type of guardian a bad thing, like in this case Dan’s granny? I don’t even know why having parents is something to brag about. Doesn’t it matter more that someone at home is there to care for you, if youre too young to fend for yourself, and showers you with love? /shrugs/

It's probably cultural. I've seen this stigma against orphans and kids of divorce in K-dramas, and it's crazy how it even affects their marriage chances.

Because it is easier for the story to start with misery and end up happy despite misfortunes, it is also a classic in literature.

Children will make fun of anything they see “different,” unless they’ve given manners. They should be explained what you just said in your comment because they can’t get to that conclusion alone or do empathy. If never explained they’ll grow up that way into an adult and be worse☠

woah that’s really sad when other important things like individual strengths (having ambitions, good manners, or positive personality) and compatibility with the partner matter more in marriage :(

that is true hahaha it may be typical but miserable childhood or past does add a bit of depth to the character

trueee, the guardians are responsible for teaching children how to approach people or situations that differ from what they see as ‘normal’. the kids aren’t to blame on this since they didnt know any better unless an adult enlightened them ( • ^ •) it’s unfortunate tho cos it seems like no one stood up for little Dan and it may have kept happening, eventually reaching adulthood and not having any other person to rely on except granny (◞‸ ◟)

Inwoo is really lovable, he has been trying to be better ever since and I really love that about him (ง ಥ_ಥ)ง I hope he slowly heals from his trauma and soon understand that interpersonal relationships is not something that he has to bear alone (TДT)

He tends to get extremely frustrated with himself because he thinks his life purpose is to make his partner blissfully happy as fast as possible to keep them tied to him or else they’ll leave, often leaning towards the pessimistic side of things wherein Jiho will end up miserable if he keeps ‘acting up’. What he probably wants to achieve is to live blissfully happy WITH Jiho without having a tunnel vision on the things that may or may not even happen in the future (such as betting on his partner leaving, just as how his mom did). I truly wish nothing but happiness for them both ♡

Little Inwoo only wanted simple things in life but all because of that poor excuse of a father, everything got fucked up for him (꒦⌑꒦) Again, rot in hell dead man

Woke up to a surprise sneak peek at milord yirim’s .5% rectal prolapse and a hate comment shitting on historical AUs as if korean authors owe them a million dollars or sumn. This manhwa is a gift that keeps on giving, a blessing, a breath of fresh air in the form of an ultra cute sweet little angel yiho. We must say our daily thanks for the freeloading (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

And to think that evil incarnate piece of fuck died just like that, leaving everyone around him scarred both physically and psychologically ughhhh burn in hell

If jk ever finds dan, I hope granny slaps some sense to that brittle shoulder mf & make him grovel before dan for making him sad, broken, and miserable :(

It’s heartbreaking to see dan looking physically well but with such lonely eyes. He may be worried about granny’s health but granny will definitely feel a lot better if he’s happy too ╥﹏╥

I love how well-written this story is, considering that it’s an ABO story + predator-prey couple. Ukano and sachio’s personalities and compatibility is chef’s kiss. Sachio’s development from being extremely timid around ukano at the start then slowly being more trusting towards him is wonderful. Also, i like how we mostly read foxes (or fox-like) characters being the cunning villain that should not be trusted in stories but here’s ukano, our green flag inari king, showing people that we shouldn’t judge people based on stereotypes (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ glad i stumbled upon this gem
