My take is; junwoo went into the room, saw taesan all bruised and assumed mc beat him up, and became violent towards mc out of anger. Thats the only way i could understand his outburst unless he’s possessive to the point of keeping taesan on a leash and beating him, meaning he escaped(?) here, which doesn’t fit with the body language and behavior we’ve seen towards taesan so far at school. Plus, we don’t see any actual violence from junwoo towards taesan “on screen”, so for me there’s no certainty behind it. Just like in movies when someone died off screen, they’re usually not actually dead. its a writing trope
its just my theory though ¯_(ツ)_/¯ im not trying to minimize what abuse but its just not certain that junwoo is the perp (yet) and i always try to think of things as logical as possible
