Three years and the Marquess is still sexually abusing Ein...
I know how these stories go, and I'm sure Ein will end up with the Marquess (we'll get his tragic backstory that the author will use to justify the way he abuses Ein because he's just sooooo tortured and so all should be forgiven). But man, the Marquess doesn't deserve Ein. The poor man has been abused everywhere he goes, and Collin would never do that to him. Just let those two be together!

Wow, people are being really harsh on Ludis... the girl was neglected and abused for literally her whole life, and somehow you expect her to become some super badass over night? Not every FL can be this super cheerful, bubbly ray of sunshine who brushes off trauma like it's nothing. Neither can every FL can be a cunning, calculating villainess. Everyone's hating on Ludis because she's shy, introverted, and wants to save people, as if there's something wrong with that. Cut the poor girl a break.

I know that I wish that she could be badass too but if she is, every FLs will be monotonous. People always forget that there are options in enjoying the comics and it's characters in general: read and see the character development, comeback after a handful of chapters drop this if you notice thT you're not enjoying the manhwa anymore.

i love love LOVE outwardly strong FLs too, but ppl are forgetting that she doesnt have to be a badass to be strong. she is so incredibly strong just by herself. even if shes shy. she survived a lifetime of abuse, she came out of a fucking ritual in one piece and shes even being depended on by the entire empire.

YES! And, everyone in the comments seems to be ignoring the fact that she stood up to her father (her primary abuser) and a room full of noble's who looked down on her, and demanded they save the most in-need area first instead of just going and protecting rich people. Does no one realize how much damn courage that must have taken for her to do? To stand in front of her abuser, not back down, and fight for the poorest and most desperate of her people? Ludis IS strong, she's simply not extroverted.

Honestly I'm glad the director straightforwardly confessed. I'm sure there will still be conflicts and misunderstandings, but it's nice to have an early confession instead of dealing with an emotionally stunted ML for thirty chapters.

but imagine being in the ukes position. how can you truly trust someone when they say they love you, if they are publicly seeing someone else? and what does that say about their character, when they express how its purely contractual and that you have no feelings toward the woman? you would never TRULY know the truth. And your relationship cant thrive privately forever... this is truly a painful situation in my opinion and i do not like the seme at all.
For a manhwa with such a cute title, this story is kind of brutal. Like, nearly Game of Thrones brutal. Getting the backstory of Ditrian's brother and how brutally he was murdered was incredibly rough to read about, and despite how the violence isn't being explicitly shown, there's enough veiled imagery to make this kind of hard to read. I was honestly not expecting this story to be as harsh as it is, and honestly I don't really want to keep reading it.
