Why are these chapter's shorter than Lord Farquaad?

The comments exist for a reason, to give our opinions and hmmm? comments. For alot of us. We come back to read because we expected character development and safe bdsm to evolve, but this chapter was the final straw because it seems like that will never happen or either happen too late to retain readers
