Honestly. I feel like there are 5 mugos due to the fractured 5 people that we see at the beginning of the series. I also 100% think MC is a reincarnation of his "criminal ancestor". That ancestor was definitely one of the mugos mate. Maybe two of the mugos. And the whole vengeance is spawned from his death. Maybe his own family killed him idk. That's why the fourth mugo saved him by telling him to bring something sweet. Maybe it was even the 4th mugo who fed him bood.
Also the parallels between mugo and MC with the candles. MC was also definitely struggling with some sort of inner split, and that struggle is representative of mugos struggle.
