Reading the comments, i think people are misunderstanding the "buddy buddy" relationship. This is just my take but seemed like ML is essentially making sure that he let's that POS ex know how good Nanase is doing now (and will probably will keep telling him that for years to come since they're 'friends' now) and how happy they're and all, so that he never forgets what he did to Nanase and what he lost doing it. Although I'd love for him to die a really painful death but since that isn't happening, this side of torture is nice too, since the author made it look like the ex had some sort of feelings for Nanase as well.
Having said that I still hope he just rots and dies like the villain in Vincenzo.
I don't usually do a policing thing because I enjoy anything that's a good read but I think people need to realize that this relationship isn't all healthy and Yoonseul isn't a green flag. I did like the story, it was a fun read but the whole thing with the first time they have sex did piss me off. It was NOT green flag behavior and tbh it wasn't needed either. It was the epitome of manipulation.
I only started reading third ending because there was so much hype about how green it was on insta. Its totally fine to read things with toxic or manipulative behavior but I hope people realize the difference between actual green flags with flaws as people vs yellow flags with toxic traits. Its masking this as a green flag that I had the trouble with.
I would've enjoyed it more without the manipulation into penetrative sex. So I'm gonna forget that exists :)
They're both broken tbh. They fit each other perfectly because they're broken in such a way. The bottom does have toxic traits but so does the top. Not condoning what the bottom does. But being around the top, has mellowed him out and maybe slowly, he will change his ways, although his major personality won't change. Well anyway no need to go in too much depth. Personally I enjoyed it a lot! If you can read a story as a story, please go ahead. But you wanna nitpick the flaws of every human character for being human then please do not read. :)

As one of the comments suggested to read 7.1-7.3 as a stand alone short story, thank you. To anyone who might come across this comment: the standalone story was short but it was very painful to read. This one goes to the top of being the most hurtful backstory in a bl story across any nation. The present of the couple is almost sweet.
