Everytime this trash of a story appear on my fyp, it pisses me off. Wdym the readers keep on gasing this mid story, and justifying Dojin's shitty personality???
"It's because Heesung is matured now that's why he forgave dojin"
"It's because heesung knows Dojin is kindhearted "
Fucking shittttt.
The author BETTER not pick up a pen again.
She literally used his trauma just to kick start the main couple's relationship. Lmao talk about BAD and LAZY writing.
Eh, is this even a good read? I saw people gassing this up in TikTok, but the first chapters are confusing and rage inducing. It's trying to make me feel pity to mc but he killed the ml's mate and expects him to forgive him???? Like unbelievably stupid. The plot is jumping around too, like i was reading that he's in a hut, got pregnant then a panel later is flashback. Idk man is this even worth reading? I don't 2anna waste time again.
I hate both mc and ml lol. Wdym ml used his fiance to replace mc and mc not feeling remorse when he indirectly killed someone AND hes pregnant too. He's actually so stupid and he keeps on wanting ml even with eveyrhring he did. The fiance literally pulled the short end of the stick in this situation. Out of everyone in this story, he deserves the happy ending the most. Where do i exactly see the masterpiece part? Im at chapter 35.
The thing the novel or the manhwa doesn’t elaborate is how long the mind game has been playing. The only indicator is Kloff’s relationship is with Rapiel from courtship, marriage, and pregnancy.
Aeroc narration in season 1/vol 1 is his recalling of events. He was already at his lowest, he was the devil who killed his poor kind cousin. The one who deserved all the condemnation of the world. So he demonizes himself… which is understandable because he was at fault.
The book doesn’t delve during the period of Aeroc and Kloff’s arguments in s1, only all of Aeroc’s mistakes.
But Vol 2 gives you an idea what Kloff part in their hell is.. the fun part about reading the novel is the puzzle feel. You get to understand why the hell of season 1 happened. Kloff’s description of his potential marriage to Rapiel in the novel was quoted to be so peaceful it would be dull. So… he used Rapiel as an object to infuriate Aeroc because his perfect marriage was boring. He made Aeroc repeatedly feel inferior for not being love… and he enjoyed it. In s2 Aeroc didn’t play into that game because he genuinely feared Kloff… which made Kloff feel weird jabbing at Aeroc, he feels more of a bully (it doesn’t stop him from being rude.. but it’s not as bad) Kloff couldn’t understand his desire towards Aeroc, he always needed to punish someone for it s1 it’s Aeroc, in s2 it was the alphas in the soiree. ‘Ugly perverted swines’ he admitted not being prudish.. but he was so angry seeing Aeroc look so broken hearted and feared Aeroc being interested in Rapiel. It’s like a fun puzzle to solve..
In vol 5.. Aeroc who doesn’t remember screams at Kloff “why are you doing this to me!?” The constant cold hot treatment is making Aeroc feel crazy. But the difference was when Kloff didn’t make Aeroc feel inferior for not being love, but for lacking experience in sex… so Aeroc’s hatred was more directed at Kloff because Kloff made him feel inferior (against s1 Rapiel made him feel inferior.. it’s messed up but I think months of humiliation and jabs finally got to Aeroc. It’s not excusable.. but you understand why everything is messed up.)
Yeah he was very smug about it. But he hated how Aeroc was out of his league… Kloff was obsessed with gaining power and position even when he had Aeroc. He didn’t want to be inferior towards him… it’s really sad because Aeroc would have accepted him and not make him feel any less. It’s the difference between how both of them love.
He didn’t want Aeroc to know about the imprint because he didn’t want to be a slave since he was more inferior to Aeroc (v3) it says a lot about Kloff how he thinks :(
I stopped reading this when the first series ended with the wedding and didn't read again, but then this appeared on my fyp in the most goddamn and horrible way. He might as well leave them and take Luna , then make Byul experience what true abandonment is so he can finally REALLY understand what hyesung felt. But then again, he won't feel it because his dad loves him, unlike Hyesung who got stuck with an abusive father.
And FUCK YOU DOJIN! Not only you're a rapist, a stupid mf too. YOU KNEW WHAT HYESUNG FELT THE WHOLE TIME. You made him pregnant AT THE AGE OF 18-19! And then you're talking to the very person that is responsible to one of the horrible shit Your own partner experienced???? if they redeem her shit, this story will be a total bs.
Remind me again why their grandfather parted ways? It's been so long
If I remember correctly it’s because it was a different time where it would’ve been a lot more difficult to come out. Also they both felt obligated to marry and carry on the family line as there was a lot of pressure to do so since linage was important in that industry. When they acted together it made them long for each other and doubt their choice. So they made up being in a fight so that they didn’t have to work together anymore and be tempted to stray from the path they committed to.

This healed me from whatever trash that love is an illusion superstar is. I can't believe people vall that story healthy family lmoa
Love is an illusion superstar is actually pretty good. The original story is another thing, but that spin off is better
Say this to me again when:
1. Dojin finally takes accountability to whatever fuck he did to his wife
2. Author stop using hyesung trauma to kick start the spin off mc love story
3. The author stops passing off trauma like rhe lazy writer she is.
4. Hyesung trauma gets addressed AND his mother PERMANENTLY out of the picture.
5. And Dojin gets deleted from the whole manwha.
Honestly, (might be a cope but) I consider the whole Dojin mess, a part of the original (which is why I dislike the original more), Superstar is centered on the cute love story of their son. I also blame Dojin for influencing Byul into disrespecting his mother trauma. Had Byul not seen that dog supporting the terrible grandma behind Hyesung back, I don't think the current mess would have gone this far.
And yes, 100% agree with you about how lightly Hyesung trauma has been adressed... I actually hate Dojin friend even more than Dojin and hate how the author made light of his wrongdoing and rude attitude
