I heard in Korea rape is normal, there’s no big punishment for rape where they live, and most Koreans actually enjoy the thrill of rape, so it kinda makes sense for there to be a lot in Koreans comics..
This one author was shocked that fans hated the scumbag character that she loved. He physically abused the bottom and forced him into bondage sex. He had severe bruising all over his body. It was the worst abuse I've seen on a character and she was surprised people hated the bad guy. I was like wtf. It seems there are many like this. Like they enjoy creating it or are oblivious.
