I don't know about the F-buddy stuff, I've never had one. I feel that if you want to get over someone, you need the distance. It's difficult at first but, with time and not seeing that someone will help you heal. This I speak from experience. The mc is hurting, and doing his best to get over ML.
As someone who had a FWB situation with someone I had a one sided crush on, it’s necessary to purge. You literally just need to cut them out of your life and move on. It’s such a rarity that your feelings are mutual and in my case, my ex fwb was exactly like ML was. He would act like my bf without being one and would get jealous over others and stuff but still wouldn’t love me back. If I didn’t cut all contact with him, I’d still be miserable now. I’m so glad kyuho is standing his ground. He needs more than just space, he needs radio silence from ML rn. Maybe they can be friends later and work themselves to a point where they like each other again but not now.
You seem to know these situations well! You are smart to cut all contacts with him! If he didn't love you but only expecting stuff from you like he is your bf, then he doesn't deserve you.
I was so miserable when I was with this guy, I almost went into a depression. He was just using me. He keep on asking for money but I didn't give it to him. He tried all kinds of schemes. So I finally blocked him out of my life. That's when my healing begins.

Awh I’m glad you were smart enough to not give him any money! I’m glad you ditched the parasite! Honestly I love that the author is showing how toxic and crazy he’s being and that kyuho is seeing it too! A lot of authors try to romanticise it and that’s kinda icky imo.
