honestly i have no idea how this story is gonna end. or unfold with season 2. it is genuinely so strange because not even raymond is a trustworthy narrator... so he may seem like he's surrendering to them now (especially to jerome) but it might not be the case, as he kept playing a similar strategy in season 1. its so complicated because i dont want him to end up with a single character in this (tho i like how simon takes care of him, but he's still under hugh's influence after all)

tbh i find it shocking that some of the comments are looking at the story from a surface level view (and playing judge at that) when it is revealing to us that yeongwoo's mentality, seoin's sexual behavior and taegu's overprotective nature towards yeongwoo all stem from their past experiences. getting their perspective on the events (which is telling the past of the past, mind you. this is not even the present) is so important and not a way to justify their actions, but a way to understand the complexity of the characters and how they'll grow throughout the story!

the plot is... so sad and stockholm syndrome-y. but i liked taeju's character arc and redemption so much. though i absolutely despise the writer's attitude towards illegal reading (not her opinion, the way she worded it), the story was compelling and even cute at times. based on the side stories i hope euihyun and his cute baby (AND baby brother. i loveee him) are happy for a looong time

i find it sooo interesting that he had flashbacks of times where he would kind of "copy" his brother's lifestyle (having aggressive sex no strings attached) vs. having sex with yeonwoon... it's like he's finally enjoying it for the first time. and actually cares about his partner because of course. its yeongwoon. its a bit sad for the other boys involved but he's changing for sure. pls dont fuck up and sleep around again pls pls pls

the thought of taesun already wearing a suit so ml was unconscious until the day of taesun's grandpa's funeral. and taesun came back from the funeral and laid down beside him. this story is so beautiful. the grief is never ending but so is the love

when you grow so fond of the couple that you dgaf if they have a "they met as kids" plot
i usually sigh. but this? it kinda moves the plot around better and makes it attach a memory or person to the scent he wanted to find so bad. also adding that their future encounters were merely coincidences that got them where they are today. its cute!

bruh i had to reread chapter 25... the size difference is DIABOLICAL.
