The reason is not even that deep actually, lol. It's because he hates Taekjoo, you know how Taekjoo is, he's the ace agent in NIS so chief Im tried to get rid of him, assign him to multiple dangerous missions, he purposefully put taekjoo in the most deadly ones just to get rid of him, aka kill him.

But he got a bit forceful and persistent, grabbing Wonwoo's arm. So Wonwoo, who got annoyed, shook him off, making Idan stumble. Seungwook who saw that got all angry, accusing Wonwoo of being rude and rough with Idan. After a bit of an argument, Wonwoo be like idgaf and left them. Seungwook, who got ignored, was pissed and also left to clear his head

Yk what's making me feel conflicted is that I dislike confinement trope (except that story where the bottom actually likes it but pretending to be weak and timid), but at the same time i'm pretty sure if Mieum was allowed to go outside while Suryeon is still free, he would just get kidnapped and almost die all over again since the author likes to put him as a damsel in distress
i agree. in a way, i kinda see why jitae wants to keep him confined cuz mieum will surly be harmed if he went out, but it doesn’t justify jitaes actions at all. i get he’s worried and cares for mieum deeply, but to lock him up is still too much. he literally taking away his freedom

I don't justify his actions at all. I'm merely stating the possible direction the author might take. There's nothing to argue here since i also feel he's out of line, but also the author has put Mieum in terrible situations before when he was trying to help Jitae on his own.
