Maybe some people think it's not important, but for me it's giving more depth to Siwoon, like despite everything that happened, he still managed to open his heart to someone who would become his friend and family. And that step he took helped him to approach Doha again, which eventually brought them together

It's not much explained; only because Eyra's soul is super rarely great at born and he actually grown became remarkable mage, kinda proving this 'special' soul. I kinda read it as how Eyra have mind and magic power almost equal with Yanu? There also another justification why his soul SSR 5 stars bcs usually a human match only for 1 or 2 dragon, Eyra's soul matches with almost every dragon in the world, combining with the settings that when a dragon don't mate with the match person upon his generation, it will die even without battle with other dragon. Shortly, beside his soul, there's no explicit reason why he's one of the matches person to the dragons.
In omegaverse language, Eyra is the only one omega and has 90%+ compatibility with almost every alpha. They need take Eyra as his own mate or they will die (yup it is that cruel and pathetic lol).
