- In chapter 1 we learn that the baby girl is 3 months old.
- Soon after moving in, the mc begins plowing an overgrown field.
- Later in the series the baby girl grows her first tooth (ends up in the ER for bleeding gums and a fever) (babies get their first tooth between the ages 4 to 7 months)
- A few chapters later, our mc harvests scallions and lettuce from the field he plowed before (scallions take 50 to 60 days to grow from seed)
- Afterwards a harvest festival is held. It’s probably Hansik, which occurs in April. Chapter 50 occurs soon after. We find out from the ML that chapter 50 is right after the harvest festival. The ML questions if it’s normal for rain to fall that much in early summer. (No idea why the translator chose the Roman holiday Saturnalia as the festival’s name. That’s the December holiday for worshiping Saturn the Roman god of harvest [Saturn= Zeus’s father Kronos in Greek].)
- Since winter hasn’t happened in this series yet, we can assume ch 1 occurs in early spring. 60+ days (length of scallion harvest plus time needed to clean up trash/weed/till the field) prior to Hansik would be around the first week of February.
- ML’s dad appears over many chapters following ch 50. Ch 50 takes place in early summer (June). So we probably are somewhere in mid June currently.

The baby should therefore be close to 8 months old.

It’s from the wrong series

Not sure if this is what you meant but: I have been in situations where everyone was criticizing the art for a story, but I didn’t see the art as having become bad. The proportions weren’t as off as what people had been saying in the comments. In fact the changes were really minimal. I even defended the artist cause the changes weren’t signif......

Apparently the uploader on botto is intentionally uploading the chapters with black pages so that other websites can’t steal their work. And then they wait a couple hours and upload the actual chapter. Which is annoying. But I kinda get what they’re doing. I don’t agree with it. Their work is already stolen. They’re not the author. But somehow it bothers them when their translation (which is stolen from the author) is stolen by someone else. Honor among thieves maybe?

That we haven’t seen the dwarves in so long. When is that issue going to be resolved?

I can’t stand how his baby never ages. She has been the same size since the beginning of this series. How old was she when he got her? How much time is passed since then? How old is she right now? Why does she still look like she’s in her first 3 months of life? Am I imagining more time having passed than what’s actually gone by?

I love this story. But I wish the tags were different. This is a “slice of life with a background plot” type series, just like spirit farmer, or dungeon farmer. (Surprised to see one that’s not farming based)

Never expected the answer to one of the main questions to show up at the very end of the side stories. So now we know why the male lead also reincarnated.

When this series first began, I thought it would only be 10 to 15 chapter long series max. But instead it’s just had a 70th chapter. I’m not complaining. I’m just surprised.

(Chapter 70 page 6) On the human foot the big toe only has two joints. The author drew a full picture of a foot where the big toe has three joints. This is anatomically incorrect.

No seriously, all the royal pure bloods in this family have issues. Meanwhile, it’s only the little halfling princess, born of a commoner, who managed to inherit common sense.

I just want to know how far we are in the story. Please give me a general fraction or percentage to go by.

Was this uploaded from a different series? I didn’t see a single character I recognized. Also felt like way too much attention was given to characters with no clear relationship to the plot. Unless, those were the main characters from a different series?

Seijin did a horrible wrong to Ido. He not only destroyed years worth of work for an entire company, but he even gave it away to a rival company. As readers we are focused on the romance, so we can make excuses for Seijin and say, “He didn’t know how bad it would be”. But if this were reality, then think of how his actions wouldn’t just affect the company's owners, it would affect the employees too.

Think of how many people will likely be laid off as a result of the company losing out that much money. Some of the people who are depending on their job to put food on the table for their family are going to find themselves in crisis situations. Maybe some dad will commit suicide leaving his family in ruins. Maybe kids will end up in orphanages when their parents can’t afford to take care of them. And all because Seijin needed to be loved at any price.

But the goal of the author, I think, is for us to feel sorry for Seijin, and feel sympathy for him. We’re supposed to say, “He didn’t know” when in fact he DID know that what he was doing was wrong. That’s why he hesitated. He just didn’t know HOW wrong. He focused on having a family to return to, even if he had to screw people over to guarantee it.

What happened to Seijin, in his past life was awful, but I feel like the author proved what kind of person Seijin is at his core. Because even in his present life, where he wasn’t suffering, he STILL did that.

You can blame trauma from child abuse and whatever else, but someone who will rationalize why a behavior they suspect is wrong, isn’t wrong, even while knowing full well what kind of person, the one making the request to do wrong is, can only be someone who is selfish. Theft is bad. Making excuses for morally wrong behavior is shameless, blaming everything on Ido after regaining his memories is just proof our how self centered Seijin is… I can’t sincerely root for him.

I’m at ch 129. The pacing is still fast, but not to the point that it can’t be followed. It helps that I’ve never read the novel. Anyone who’s read the novel would hate how so much is left out in the adaptation… How do I know? Cause the novel readers fill the comment section with that phrase like it’s a mantra. To be fair though, that’s a standard problem with any novel that gets adapted to another media form.

I remember the fans of Harry Potter complaining about the movies. For web novels that are adapted to webtoons the hating is even worse. Webtoons based on novels have tons of novel fans b*tching in the comment section. I can barely get through the comments in trash of the counts family, or gosh—- the list is just to long…

I think the author is dragging out the reveal of the DNA test because, by now, even the author has to have realized that half their readers are going drop this story once we see the only part we’ve been hanging around for.
