Honestly I feel no one is in the right here.
Suwon’s father was a cruel man and would have made a terrible King, but Il was no better. While Il was King he let his country fall into poverty and despair. He let tyrants run loose and his people to go without food. If anyone has forgotten that then I think you need to reread the earlier chapters. I also don’t like how he has held on to the tale of the Crimson King and somewhat forced that narrative onto his young child.
Suwon killed King Il which is terrible for Yona, yes. However we also see him uniting the country. In the short time he’s been King he’s accomplished so much. Does this mean I want Yona to forgive him? Meh, I don’t care either way, but I think it’s in her character to do so, but it means I think we focus on him killing King Il more than we do on his achievements.
I really love her and Sir Mio’s relationship as friends. And although I wouldn’t be mad if they ended up together, I really love how close they are and how much they care about each other PLATONICALLY.
I love that they have this outwardly typical lovey-dovey relationship: sleeping in the same room, sharing caretaking of a child together, mixing up/sharing their clothes, holding hands, going on dates, etc etc, yet there’s no romantic feelings, it’s just showing how much you can love someone and do things for that person platonically.
I really hope that Sir Mio will protect her from that wicked Blondie when the time comes...
while i DON'T want Mio & Ash to end up together, it looks to me that Mio is developing feelings for her. Otherwise why would he buy the jewelry piece she was looking at, take her on a date (when she was scheduled to work) only AFTER hearing that her tutor already took her to see the festival (Ash's 1st date), make typical "jealous bf" faces after hearing about her talk about other guys (mostly the tutor?) and getting happy over it, + the "rival" -vibe confrontation with Mr. Redhead (forgot his name) when Redhead rescued/kidnapped her during the weird incident at the palace?
Again--I hope it crashes & burns so Mio doesn't get to be with her. i'm even rooting for Mr. Redhead to be the ML. The can be friends or even besties but that prick (Mio) shouldn't be forgiven for what he did in the original route. nor the shitty king. nor the shitty blonde vixen-succubus yurgel or wtf his name is. ye know what? let's just say I want a "death to villainy" ending. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Yeah, I can see that Mio is definitely developing feelings for her, but he also has feelings for the “shitty blonde vixen-succubus” (love the nickname lol), I’m wondering when it comes down to a confrontation (because you just KNOW there’s going to be a confrontation eventually) which side Mio is going to pick. Luckily, while it seems Mio has developed feelings, Ash hasn’t had any typical ~heart flutters~ or romance flags for him yet. Our girl has taste it seems.
