I feel like this has been said (by both me and others) a million times, but I really love this manga.
There are so many transmigration/reincarnation stories out there these days and most of them aren't great, and some of the good ones you find start out amazing but dwindle over time (especially comedic mangas like this, after some time they stop being funny and just turn stupid), HOWEVER this has been amazing from the start and it's kept up a good pacing in plot, the comedy is still sunny and hasn't turned stupid or silly, the characters are developing nicely, this really does check off everything in my list!!

Okay again, I love this, but come ON!
This is the same shit every chapter: the emperor does something good for the prince, they get close, and then one of the servants or guards comes along and tries to imprison/beat/or kill the prince. And then the start of the next chapter everything works out fine.
Not hating on this, I absolutely adore this manga, HOWEVER I did have a little sigh at the end of this chapter when they were confronted by a guard YET AGAIN haha ╥﹏╥

Hmmm, I love and adore this more than anything in the world right now, however I'm kinda not into this whole "Gods and fate" subplot they've introduced. I feel like it's just come outta nowhere.
I mean, we've always known there was something off about Del so I guess it makes sense, but I'm just kinda "eeehhhh" about it y'know?
I was just happy with a good ol' historical story, I didn't really prepare myself for a mystical gods story. Maybe if they had introduced some god or religious lore at the beginning of the story this whole transition would have been a bit smoother.
On saying that, I am still curious to see how this will go!

Okay, someone tell me why she has no guards with her?
Like, before when she was freshly engaged she had one guard assigned to be her personal guard. Later at a part she had a whole squadren of guards following her into even the ladies rest room. And that was before anyone was threatening her.
Now she has had multiple attempts on her life and whould have guards escorting her now moreso than ever and convieniently no one is around?
And don't tell me it's because they are privately having tea. It wouldn't be unusual for guards to be standing behind their masters couch or guarding the doors from the inside.
Like, I love this story, but I'm going to call out shitty ~coincidental~ plot devices when I see them

Okay I'm dropping this.
I use to really like it, and even when she grew older I didn't hate her, but the past few chapters have just really turned me off.
She's just so selfish. She runs away from home to go sightseeing because shes having a tantrum, leaving all her maids and friends behind to face the consequences (killed, imprisoned, etc. The only reason that didn't happen is because of the plot haa) and only leaving a note behind. Now her dad is almost declaring war because of this.
And like yeah... she's lived in a guilded cage all her life, but honestly what's more important? Her having a fun roadtrip or peoples lives?
Also, she's never really indicated not liking her life in the castle or even really wanting to leave the palace before now, almost like this was just thrown out there to keep the plot moving, and how it's done too - her escaping and running away right after an argument with her dad - it's making this whole arc just one big tantrum.
And I'm sure if she pleaded with her dad enough he'd take her on a world tour with him.
Not saying her dad is good. He's a tyrant he's not meant to be good, he's the definition of toxic. Hell he tried to have her killed as an infant.
Also, I'm finding the love life a bit forced and stiff. Like, she grew up with all these guys as a kid and you expected one of them to be with her in the future, but instead they've thrown two other men in that we barely know. And I don't really hate that but they both are a bit bland and so is her affection for them and her whole runninng away sequence is just an excuse for her to interact with them.
WOW that was a long rant! And I get other people still like this and that's cool, I'm not hating for you liking what you do, but I'm just kinda dissapointed that this manhwa that I use to like a lot has just fizzled out and lead nowhere.

I just got to the chapter where we meet the black knight at the palace (ch 35) and skipped ahead to 175 and pretty much got the gist of what was happening. This story seems really bland without much character development or attention to an Overarching plot. I think I’ll be dropping it Even earlier than you haha

Honestly, I disagree. shes basically been trapped inside her entire life. like a bird in a cage, with longing to leave but fear for her life. She also had a silver spoon in her mouth. yet she always was nice to everyone, and treated them like equals and tried to be the best for everyone. even if she was slow to catch on to how much everyone really loved, and cared for her. she was never really bratty, and didn't go around spending money. and living her life like a sheltered rich kid although she was cocky about her looks that's it. But she was never snotty, it was more like she felt confident about her self but to the point where she new if it was to much. I feel her leaving, isnt her going off on some vacation. its shows character growth that she wants to be independent, and will learn about the world outside the castle. and hopefully become wiser and less childish, yet not a bad person. not only that she also spent most of her life protecting the people from being killed by her father. she never really lived her life for herself. she was always left in the dark or found out things by accident. and when getting close to people they'd either leave, or do something they want with their lives. while she watched from the side wishing them happiness. while she couldn't be with them or anything because of her father. but as she grew up she just didn't notice her father, wasnt planning on anything with evil intent towards her. she didn't need to fear for her life anymore since her relationship with her father already grew really strong. I'm hoping the journey will help her mature for the better, and hopefully she will learn to protect herself. atleast a little self defense, as for the guys. that the author "randomly" threw in. i don't find it weird the twins are her cousins, and god siblings so it'd be weird if she dated one of them .and as for the child hood friend, they where more like siblings since the nanny was his real mother and her mother figure since her mother died giving birth to her.
Bruh, that ending was so satisfying for me.
I know some people wanted more of them together now that they've finally gotten together, but I think it's perfect how it is.
To me the story was about Chiwoo and how Chiwoo was healing and opening up and fulfilling his desire to complete high school. This story was about the journey of his healing and his relationships. Now that he's in a happy place and he's together with someone who makes him happy it makes sense to end the story.
