Hmmm I don't trust that red haired guy, but I don't think he's totally bad.

Here's my theory on him: I believe he is obsessed and/or possessive of the MC. He definitely likes the MC and wants the MC to like him back (this is shown multiple times throughout the story, most recently buying MC macaroons), so he doesn't hate the MC.
He got really possessive in the flashback where all 3 of them were hanging out too.

So what about those dirty rumors? I think Red is trying to get people to avoid MC because he wants to isolate the MC and be the only one MC cares about. That OR he could be trying to prevent MC from having friends and good feelings to prevent him from losing his memory again because apparently MC loses his memories when he's happy.

IDK, I don't trust Little Red, but I can't bring myself to hate him either.

Okay I've only just finished the second chapter but I already love everyone in this household.

I adore the "found family" trope and it looks like this will have an abundance of that, I'm so excited!

I'm actually really interested in how the author plans to make us forgive him and like him.

At this point you could give him the worst sobs story and make him walk through hell and back and I still don't believe we'll forgive him.

The author made him a shitty bastard for the plot, but now I'm very interested in seeing if they can redeem him enough for us readers, or if the author has written themselves into a corner.

I actually don't want her to end up with anyone.

Like, I do like the Silver haired Prince, but at the same time I think I just want her to be happy and safe, and surrounded by friends. I don't want her to be under any mans thumb.

I'm actually glad she rejected Alj.

Don't get me wrong, I love my baby boy, but I adore even more that she's sticking to her guns. She said she needed to leave and have space, and while it IS romantic for Alj to come after her, I like how she wasn't swayed. If she was going to return that easily there'd be no point leaving in the first place!

Also, she's not dumb, she's not oblivious to his feelings. In the end she's a maid and he's the Duke. His position is second only to that of the Royal family, and ya'll are just expecting them to have a happily ever after~? No, I like that this story is thinking about the consequences of things and not just making it a quick fix.

I love that these two ladies will be working together from now on!! You don't understand how much I love it when female character's have female friends, and I have always loved the fem guard so I'm so happy that we'll be seeing more of her from now on!!!
