I think its kinda tragic what happened to her. Like, I know it's meant to be sad, but a lot of the times in these types of stories the prince is normally an idiot or conceited or a jerk, so when he throws away the MC its kinda whatever and you forget about him. But her fiance in this was actually her friend and her confident in a way, so his betrayal and his disloyalty is even more hurtful.
Anyway, I love her as a character and I can't wait to read more of this.

Okay going out on a whim here, but the crown prince was born out of wedlock - just like the protagonist. What if they knew each other before as children when they were both commoners or something?
And he's not trying to find her to kill her but more so to find his childhood friend?
Before when they showed a little peak of her life as a princess in chp1 it was just people talking badly about her behind her back. What if they were kinda terrible to her and he's just avenging her or saving her?

Okay, I'm seeing a lot of people saying they'll drop this because of spoilers, but I've read some of the novel and this is really quite different from what I had read. The manga is really cute and sweet and we get to see Eddies side of the story a lot (which makes us understand his tsundere character more) whereas the novel didn't have as many sweet scenes and glossed over their time together. As someone who has read both I actually dropped the novel because I liked the manga better, so I wouldn't recommend dropping this manga just because of other people's opinion on the novel.

We can't accuse a person with a tragic past of any crime (even though we are allowed to accuse their victims with similarly tragic pasts of much worse). Wooooo!!!! The three of us: that's no excuse to treat others like sh!t, since they may have also had sh!tty lives and still somehow managed to be decent people.
