It’s finally happening and the me from a month ago would be screaming in joy, but for some reason I can’t celebrate this?? I think I’ve just been so dissatisfied with the ML for the past few chapters that I fell out of love with him, and now I can’t even find happiness in them finally being together.
Once again, he was a coward and once again it was the FL driving the relationship forward (which in itself is not a bad thing, but for this couple I just want to see the duke do SOMETHING). Basically I’m still waiting for the duke to redeem himself before I can celebrate

So in the end it wasn’t the ML that stepped up for the MC, but the uncle?! Can we just change the ML now? I’m so bored of the duke, he’s given us absolutely nothing.

People are giving the MC flack for using the ML, but did no one see how injured he was getting? Like to me this seemed like a life or death last minute resort thing. I even feel bad for the MC that he has to put up with such a manipulative ML just to survive.
