I definitely have opinions, good and bad. I think I share a similar sentiment to a lot of other commenters in that this would’ve been a lot better if ML hadn’t been such an asshole in the beginning. His awful personality really pissed me off and the whole break up arc kind of felt dumb to me, I also wished maybe the literal rape scenes were executed better? I feel like its dumb to even try to complain about that in Yaoi’s anymore since its common place for authors to just use rape as a conflict starter but I feel like theres more tasteful and respectful ways of portraying it, idk.
As for any positive feelings I have towards this, I appreciate ML stepping up (although if he was such a green flag from the start I think this would’ve been a much easier read) and their relationship is very sweet. I’ll give them that, its really nice to see consensual sex where the bottom actively enjoys it and expresses so. I feel like it was especially important since it gave a very welcomed contrast between ML and his rapist ass cousin. Yeah thats kinda it, this whole story was just meh, I would’ve really loved it if they just fully leaned into the cheesy romance between the two and ML was sweet from the start.
I’ll say it was a lot easier of a read since its finished, if I hadn’t read it completed I probably would’ve given this barely a two. I cant imagine waiting between updates with how pissed off I got repeatedly throughout the story.
God I love this story so much, they have such a beautiful relationship the author makes such beautiful romance and even their sex scenes are sensual, full of love and yearning. So beautiful.
I liked how much of a green flag ml was but I think if there was less smut and more of a focus on them bonding it would’ve been less jarring when they randomly got married lmao the amount of sex in this comic really is crazy lol, it was boring but it was cute I liked it haha
If you think about it, it was cringe. Hilarious. I don’t think it was really that boring. Maybe because there’s a lot of smut. Some people might find it to be kind of boring, but I think they both like it quite a lot. I do think they could’ve added a little bit
more comedy And maybe lowered the sexual stuff stuff a little bit, but I think if they did that they would have to explain the plot a little bit more and I think they’re a little heavy for this manga
This was definitely an interesting read idk how I fully feel about it though because ML is still technically a rapist/abuser but I’ll give it props for completely catching me off guard. I wasn’t expecting that plot twist.
I really liked this at first especially since you don’t see tan bottoms too often but reading further needless to say my positive opinions have since dropped, the plot feels really flimsy and uninteresting— generic if you will and the artstyle change is far from my favorite, especially since they lightened the uke, I know he wasn’t super dark in the first place but dude. In some of these panels he’s full on white like where is his tan skin?? idk, everything that’s happening right now is super uninteresting and I’m disappointed. I had high hopes.
Yeah, I agree with you. It was interesting at first, but the thing is the author didn’t really do anything with the Espers and the Guides at all, also same with the Marks. The reasons why Espers,Guides, and Marks exist within that world, and the purpose of them. It wasn’t explained well. The worldbuilding is very much lacking, and the artsyle inconsistency is a big flaw as well. It would be good if the artsyle becomes better, instead now it’s much worse. Also, yeah, what is with the whitening of the Taehun’s skin? I think I’ll just drop this.
Yuppp (〜￣△￣)〜 also not doing anything with the guide/espers is such a good point like they really have no purpose in this world, at least in other guideverse stories they fight monsters n stuff. They kinda have nothing to do here so it just adds to the underwhelming boringness…im dropping this for now as well, unless the plot suddenly does a 180 I just have zero interest wasting my time on it
I was annoyed with their relationship like 80% of this story it just felt like they were running in circles around each other but once they started actually communicating I liked it a lot. I didn’t really care about the sex scenes but can’t say I’m a fan of this sex trope, if they had a safe word I’d feel more comfortable (it would make the rough aggressive sex and ukes whining feel safer if that makes sense? Cause there would be an out) but the warning definitely wasn’t lying when it said dubious consent cause that’s what this is what it basically is atp. I hope this isn’t a reoccurring theme because then the good feelings I cultivated over their cute relationship these past few chapters is gonna take a nosedive.
Seriously praying we don’t get anymore scenes like this one, it was just done very badly, this was far too aggressive for revenge sex. Just a badly written sex scene in general.

I tried to push through but literally how am I meant to root for this couple?? Listen, I can do weirdly obsessed semes but the moment he blindfolded him, bent him over and raped him I just lost any interest. There is no reason for Uke to fall in love with his genuine monster, this is not love in any shape or form. Nobody that loves and cares for somebody would disrespect them and defile them against their will. Its painfully clear this author just has a rape feitsh and this comic is a fantasy fulfillment. Im so tired of this weird ass behavior from yaoi authors. I really tired to give this a chance, I do like bdsm themes, I like a good mafia/gangster top, I like possessive semes and cute ukes but I just can’t swallow reading this type of stuff. I just wanted to complain and express my disappointment especially since it seems like uke just suffers more and more. Very disappointed, art style was very pretty and dare I say there could’ve been some potential, cliché, cheesy and unrealistic? Yes but it would’ve been ten times better than whatever the hell this hot mess is.
