I liked how much of a green flag ml was but I think if there was less smut and more of a focus on them bonding it would’ve been less jarring when they randomly got married lmao the amount of sex in this comic really is crazy lol, it was boring but it was cute I liked it haha
This was definitely an interesting read idk how I fully feel about it though because ML is still technically a rapist/abuser but I’ll give it props for completely catching me off guard. I wasn’t expecting that plot twist.
I really liked this at first especially since you don’t see tan bottoms too often but reading further needless to say my positive opinions have since dropped, the plot feels really flimsy and uninteresting— generic if you will and the artstyle change is far from my favorite, especially since they lightened the uke, I know he wasn’t super dark in the first place but dude. In some of these panels he’s full on white like where is his tan skin?? idk, everything that’s happening right now is super uninteresting and I’m disappointed. I had high hopes.
I was annoyed with their relationship like 80% of this story it just felt like they were running in circles around each other but once they started actually communicating I liked it a lot. I didn’t really care about the sex scenes but can’t say I’m a fan of this sex trope, if they had a safe word I’d feel more comfortable (it would make the rough aggressive sex and ukes whining feel safer if that makes sense? Cause there would be an out) but the warning definitely wasn’t lying when it said dubious consent cause that’s what this is what it basically is atp. I hope this isn’t a reoccurring theme because then the good feelings I cultivated over their cute relationship these past few chapters is gonna take a nosedive.
I tried to push through but literally how am I meant to root for this couple?? Listen, I can do weirdly obsessed semes but the moment he blindfolded him, bent him over and raped him I just lost any interest. There is no reason for Uke to fall in love with his genuine monster, this is not love in any shape or form. Nobody that loves and cares for somebody would disrespect them and defile them against their will. Its painfully clear this author just has a rape feitsh and this comic is a fantasy fulfillment. Im so tired of this weird ass behavior from yaoi authors. I really tired to give this a chance, I do like bdsm themes, I like a good mafia/gangster top, I like possessive semes and cute ukes but I just can’t swallow reading this type of stuff. I just wanted to complain and express my disappointment especially since it seems like uke just suffers more and more. Very disappointed, art style was very pretty and dare I say there could’ve been some potential, cliché, cheesy and unrealistic? Yes but it would’ve been ten times better than whatever the hell this hot mess is.
I do like this story a lot especially since I’m real into possessive lowkey obsessed tops n cute bottoms that match each others freak BUUTTT if I had to nitpick, I’m not a huge fan that MC has no idea his family or friend supports him being gay. It’s kind of isolating him in a way yk? I feel like they’re treating him like a child who wouldn’t know what to do with himself rather than an adult man and telling him the truth. Which is a really positive kind one, he clearly expresses his loneliness of not being able to express his love about ML to anyone but ML himself and I think that’s sad. Mc has nobody to run to about his relationship struggles that isn’t ML.
I also am not really a fan of how ML went about this argument but then again he’s a freak and clearly MC doesn’t care, maybe is into it as well so I guess that’s that. Mc just comes off as naive and I feel like I wouldn’t worry so much if he had people he knew he could rely on, their relationship really is bowing a thin line between what most could consider the warning signs of an abusive relationship vs just an unconventional one. Idk if that makes sense, I’m not saying ML would get abusive with MC but he just does things like isolate him, makes him feel bad for minuscule things, doesn’t exactly listen to him when he says no on certain things. He just treads a very fine line I think I could ignore if MC had those supportive people in his life, which are there but what’s the use if HE doesn’t know that yknow?

Honestly I liked the concept of this comic, its very entertaining and while not fresh, very fun imo…just I wish Shinjae could’ve groveled for a little longer, maybe they had some time apart ir the time gap wasn’t so awkward. It just felt like Hanbin was kind of just pushed to interact with him due to getting a whole spiel about Shinjae’s life. It would’ve been nice if the ending was more fleshed out, still I did enjoy it a lot. Ignoring the drama, they’re a very cute couple, I like the trope of super handsome seme falls head over heels for average looking uninterested uke.

I always end up preferring the second lead and disliking the first and why is mc so damn naive!!! I haven’t dated but even I have more common sense, I wish he’d just end up with the second ML. Hes a lot cuter and actually seems to care for him while the main ML just has some weird possessive feelings for him.
Assuming his eggs could even be fertilized, what the hell would come out of them? He isn’t an actual chicken so I can’t imagine chicks coming out— so what??? The only thing I could imagine (at the size of a chicken egg) is like a very very very premature baby that wouldn’t survive…if he actually got pregnant would he just give birth like a regular human or assuming his body has only the capabilities of giving birth like a chicken maybe when he actually gets pregnant the egg is bigger? (Like an ostrich? But even then they only push out 3 pound eggs and a newborn ostrich is like 2 pounds according to google, so compare that to a healthy human baby which is supposed to be like 7 pounds or so…ouch) I feel like that would be insane to push out. A baby sized egg…jeez I feel bad for his pussy if thats the case.
Under this theory if he would produce a baby sized egg, maybe he would just end up getting a C-section? But now im just wondering how the hell a baby is supposed to get out of an egg, I doubt his kids would end up with any beaks…I guess you’d just help them break out maybe? Im genuinely so intrigued.
Edit: ok so after rereading they claim they’re all infertile since they were originally men despite their feminine parts, they did also say they’re researching it but when you think about it considering they’re hybrids I doubt they’d be able to reproduce. Some animal hybrids in the wild are sterile, considering this is a human x chicken mix I doubt his chemical makeup would allow it considering how different Chickens and humans are. Still, this comic is very fictional in its facts so imo pregnancy is still on the table.

They aren’t a healthy couple at all imo ( sekye needs some serious therapy) but I still enjoyed this story a lot. A story about two desperate and mentally fucked up people will always hit for me.
I think I dislike glasses guy less because of how he went about it but instead more due to his attitude towards the situation. I think you can have a character make a douchey move like this and still feel genuine. An example is Chan Young from Heesu from class 2, while I don’t really remember and im not gonna go reread it just for this comment, I’m like 95% sure he did a similar thing to Glasses guy. He dated around to try and get heesu to give up on his own, but the thing is the audience could tell he wasn’t doing it with ill intent.
You knew that Chan young loves his friend and isn’t trying to belittle him. Hes just immature and unsure how to go about it. If you compare this to Glasses guy, he feels a lot less genuine. He almost kind of feels like he’s looking down on MC, there isn’t a sense of helplessness like hes doing it because he can’t think of a better way. He comes off like a douche.
Thats just my opinion, maybe this isn’t how he actually is and he does actually care about MC but right now he feels like a total asshole. Its just the way he spoke about MC and the situation, idk. Gives me asshole vibes.
