what his friend did was outing someone without their consent. even if lgbtq+ these days is acceptable, in other countries it’s still looked down upon so even if you know the other party is lgbt, you shouldn’t point it out until they tell you about it. it’s pretty hard for someone to come out and they usually only tell to people who they trust with
