This is so bittersweet. I like the concept of being against fated mates but still, it hurts. If the situation was different, Kaoru and Rin could've been happy and the same goes for Taiga and Yuka. They all had a chance but Taiga's stupidity and immaturity ruined the future for all of them. Rin didn't really have any choice later and all of them had to make their lives from the scraps they got. It wasn't a bad life, no, but the possibility there is killing me.

Karam was actually the most boring and undeveloped character. Why did it end like that?

I can assume based on my feelings about the story and it seems plausible for me that maybe she planned something else. It happens all the time, authors can change the plot. Even if she didn't, the main character ending with Karam is just not so great and a lot of people think like that and are disappointed because this ending doesn't make much sense. It coud've been better. Also the story is definitely not a realistic one.

if the aiming to Junseo to be rejected from the start, then they don't know how to write. real the rules on how to write a story, and the answer will be clear. that's not how you write a story and expect people to like. unless you aim to annoy people and make them feel miserable with this ending. which I doubt very much the creator aim for that. in the end of the day, the aim is to make people happy with the ending, not angry or miserable for a side character.
This chapter is very interesting. Can't wait for more about them and their history.
