DG does tell Alex that he loves him more than anyone. I think he also asks about the hyung Alex was in love with and says something like, 'you like him, right?' I honestly think DG needed to have that confrontation. maybe it wasn't the best way to approach things, especially when you're drunk, but i think it's going to be the catalyst for both him and Alex.
Personally, I would have parted ways with Alex once I knew I was in love with him, because nothing sucks more than to keep seeing someone who only wants you for sex when you've become emotionally invested. What I don't like is the way Alex treated DG, because most people in fwb relationships have a basic respect for the other person. I would never put up with someone disrespecting me no matter how much I loved him, and I definitely would never come back once they laid a hand on me. Been there, done that. I just need to remember that these characters are young people who are still figuring things out: one trying to find his way through first and unrequited love, the other one trying to never be hurt again(this is just sad, in my opinion, because you'd be missing out on so much).
